We have entered the Spring, but the cold weather may still take its toll on patio and patio furniture. Keeping your patio furniture in shape might seem like a huge task, but it is not as difficult as you think. Here are some of the ways to do it quickly and easily.

Firstly, remove all the things from the outdoor area including furniture, grills, décor etc. Sweep all patio surfaces and scrub with a suitable cleaner as suggested by your paver manufacturer. Pressure rinse it off or you can also use a strong garden hose. Once the surface has been cleaned, it’s the time to do cleaning of patio furniture.

Plastic furniture

Plastic is one of the cheapest materials and is least demanding kind of outdoor furniture when it comes to cleaning and maintenance. You just need a mixture of warm water and baking soda. Use sponge to clean and sanitize the furniture with ease. In order to avoid mold and mildew, use a mix of bleach and water too. If your furniture is other than white color, use white vinegar instead of bleach.

Metal furniture

To get the shine of wrought iron and metal furniture, clean the surfaces with some mild dishwashing solution mixed in warm water. This removes most of the stains and other marks. Just slowly scrub mixture with brush onto surface and wash with clean water. Now completely dry it with clean cloth before putting furniture outside. To treat slight corrosion, work onto surfaces with some fine sand paper and use primer.

Wooden furniture

You can clean wooden outdoor furniture easily with a mild soapy solution, since it works great for wooden furniture. Use spray gun and clean the surfaces with cloth. Through jet washing you can easily remove dirt and dust. Teak made furniture can also be cleaned by using all-natural cleanser.
